AT HOME
Surfaces painted with phosphorescent paints from the GLOW AQUA series provide a glow-in-the-dark effect lasting up to 10 hours. They can be used to mark hazardous areas or create guiding paths, for example in a garden. These paints are also commonly used to decorate ceilings in bedrooms, bathrooms, and children’s rooms. You can also use them to paint various interior accessories such as vases, flower pots, or picture frames.

HOW DOES PHOSPHORESCENT PAINT WORK?
Phosphorescent paints "charge" when exposed to sunlight, UV light, or artificial light. These types of paints are often referred to as "Glow in the Dark" paints. They contain substances such as phosphors or compounds with rare earth elements that, after the light source is removed, release the stored energy in the form of visible light. Once activated, a high-quality phosphorescent paint can glow in the dark for up to 10 hours. The longer the painted surface is exposed to light, whether natural or artificial, the longer the glowing effect will last.

RECOMMENDED USES
APPLICATION
The paint can be applied with a brush, roller, sponge, or by using an airless spray. Before use, mix thoroughly, as the pigment may settle at the bottom of the container. The number of layers depends on the desired effect. We recommend applying several coats - at least 2 or 3 - on a clean, primed surface. Apply each subsequent layer at 2-hour intervals. The thicker the paint layer, the stronger and more intense the glow-in-the-dark effect.
To protect the painted surface, you can apply a topcoat varnish from the GLOW AUX series.
Before painting, test the paint on a small surface. For best results, apply it over a light-colored base and use a white acrylic primer. Applying phosphorescent paint on dark surfaces can reduce the glowing effect by up to 50%.
